Community, Pride, and a Championship to Remember

What a night for New York—and what a night for Savoy Park! As the New York Knicks captured their first NBA Championship in 53 years, our community came together on the lawn to cheer them on, creating an unforgettable evening of excitement, connection, and neighborhood pride.

This watch party was truly a community effort. Tenants stepped up in every way imaginable—helping set up, bringing equipment, donating water and soda, and making sure everyone had a welcoming place to gather. Neighbors filled the lawn, celebrating every basket together until the final buzzer.

More than just watching a basketball game, the evening was a reminder of what makes Savoy Park special. It showed that when neighbors come together, we can create joyful, safe, and meaningful experiences for everyone. Events like this strengthen the connections that make our community more than just a place to live—they make it a home.
