EVENTS

SPTU hosts a variety of events to foster connection, collaboration, and community empowerment and provide resources for tenants. Tenants are encouraged to attend our Monthly Complex Wide Meetings to stay informed and have their voices heard. We also participate in Offsite Community Engagement and Advocacy Meetings, where we connect with other tenant groups and advocate for housing justice. Throughout the year, we organize Periodic Social Gatherings and Holiday Celebrations to build camaraderie among neighbors, and we support Community-Led Social Events that reflect the creativity and interests of our residents.

Monthly Complex-Wide Meetings

Complex-wide meetings are held each month on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held both in person (cycling to a different building each month) with a Zoom option. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list below to receive meeting information and updates!

Community Engagement Meetings

Manhattan Community Board 10 (CB10) plays a vital role in shaping policy and advocating for the needs of Central Harlem residents — including those of us at Savoy Park. This section provides up-to-date information on CB10’s monthly meetings, including dates, agendas, and how to attend or participate. Tenant presence at these meetings helps ensure our voices are heard on key issues affecting our homes and our neighborhood. Stay informed, get involved, and help push for the change we all deserve.
